  10. I just installed a GURU-ROM in my GVP A530 and I can't get it to work right.
  11. When I boot the system I get either a black screen or an error message:

  13.    omniscsi.device: unit 000
  14.    invalid selection
  15.    $82/$00/$00/$0500/0
  16.  
  17. This is sometimes followed by a similar message:

  19.    omniscsi.device unit 000
  20.    invalid status
  21.    $84/$00/$30/$0500/1

  23. Then I just get a blank workbench screen from which I can't do anything.

  25. I set up the jumpers as directed in the manual: J10 is open (it was already
  26. open in the first place) and CN18 goes from 2-3.  Should I have made any 
  27. changes to my hard drive setup (drivers, changes to the RDB, etc.) _before_
  28. I installed the ROM?  If anyone who has successfully installed a GURU-ROM in
  29. an A530 can help me with this I'd really appreciate it.
